With a desire to do more with discarded parachutes, the Hatzerim Airbase, Israeli Airforce, has officially partnered with Hope Center by donating all old parachutes towards our cause!

 

What was once a parachute, will now be sewn into unique one of a kind up-cycled shopping bags. These are no ordinary shopping bags - these shopping bags have a social and environmental impact. All bags will be sewn at Hope Centers social business - KitePride.

KitePride employs survivors of prostitution, providing them with safe rehabilitation employment through sewing up-cycled bags. Each bag will provide an employee with ½ an hour of safe rehabilitation employment and save 0.3m² of upcycled fabric saved from landfill.
